Most of UNIXDEV’s work is system development projects for government agencies, state enterprises and large organisations. In this role you open new accounts and own existing ones end to end. You hear that an agency is planning a project, read the TOR, build the proposal, submit the bid and get the contract signed. After that you stay through the delivery milestones and the maintenance (MA) renewal. System development is the main thing you’ll sell, but the same clients usually need more: AI/LLM, cloud and infrastructure/DevOps, email and collaboration platforms, security, care for legacy systems, or MA/managed services. You’re the one who sees the whole picture of a client and brings in the right team. Alongside base salary, this role includes commission and performance incentives. We’ll go through the details at interview.
How we work
- We think the best work comes from people who genuinely care about doing it well, and that’s the kind of team you’ll find here — people who look after the craft and help each other grow. We love trying new things, and lately we’ve been delighted by what becomes possible with AI alongside us. Come grow with us, and build something worth being proud of.
Responsibilities
- Win new clients in government, state enterprises and organisations we haven’t worked with yet. Get to know them before there’s a TOR, because many projects take shape while the budget is being requested.
- Build leads from many sources (seminars, trade shows, your network, referrals from existing clients, and leads from marketing), then qualify which ones are worth pursuing.
- Own a portfolio of government, state-enterprise and enterprise accounts. Plan each account: which projects are coming, and in which budget year.
- Track announcements on e-GP and TOR public-hearing periods, and get the team to a go/no-go call before we commit to a bid.
- Read the TOR closely, including the fine print (bidder qualifications, documents, payment milestones, acceptance), then build the proposal and pricing with the SA, PM and leadership.
- Coordinate with partner companies when a project needs a joint bid, so each side’s scope is clear before we submit.
- For enterprise clients: meet them to understand the real problem, then prepare quotations and a scope the team can actually deliver.
- After signing, hand full context to the Discovery/PM team and stay with the client through the project, helping with acceptance, payment milestones and change requests.
- Own MA renewals and grow existing accounts, both with next-phase development and with the company’s other services.
- Keep the pipeline and CRM current. Use AI tools to help read TORs, draft documents and summarise, and always review the output yourself before it goes anywhere.
Qualifications
- Around 3–5 years in project-based IT sales or solution sales.
- Enjoys going after new business and can open a conversation with people who don’t know us yet, rather than waiting for inbound leads.
- Has sold to government or state enterprises, understands public procurement and e-bidding, and has read and responded to TORs.
- Enough grounding in software development (requirements, scope, acceptance) to hold a real conversation with both clients and the technical team.
- Careful with documents and deadlines. A late bid or one missing page means we lose.
- Strong communication and presentation: fluent Thai, workable English.
- Able to travel to clients, in Bangkok and occasionally upcountry.
- Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work, reviewing the output before it’s used.
Helpful experience
- An existing network in government agencies or enterprises.
- Has sold MA, managed services, or cloud/infrastructure alongside development work.
- Has worked on joint bids with partners or a consortium.
- Enough understanding of AI/LLM, cloud, email/collaboration platforms or security to keep the conversation going with a client.
- Hands-on with CRM and sales-ops tools.
